How You Can HelpThe strength of the First Run Animal Rescue Fund stems from the love, hard work, and commitment of community volunteers. The First Run Animal Rescue Fund offers many volunteer opportunities for compassionate, responsible animal lovers. In addition to providing temporary housing to rescue animals, volunteers coordinate medical services (including spay/neutering) and oversee the adoption process. Although volunteers do most of the work, animal nutritional expenses are underwritten by financial contributions from community members, local businesses, and other private foundations. First Run Animal Rescue Fund is a Not For Profit Tax-Exempt organization. We are a community-based organization committed to protecting and respecting animal rights. No contribution is too small or large. If you are unable to make a financial contribution at this time, you can provide a temporary or permanent foster home for an animal in need, lend a helping hand, offer us pleasant thoughts, or pass this information on to your friends.
